Kota Tua Ampenan
Ampenan is a sub-district in the city of Mataram ,West Nusa Tenggara ,Indonesia. This is the oldest township in Lombok. Now, it is a tourist attraction, better known as Kota Tua Ampenan - The Old Town Of Ampenan.
This town was once an economic hive and is the central port city on the island of Lombok . Located on the west side of Lombok, this district is a relic of the old city.

Rinjani or Mount Rinjani is an active volcano in Indonesia on the island of Lombok. Location is the Regency of North Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. The peak is 3,726 metres, making it the second highest volcano in Indonesia.
On the top of the volcano is a 6km x 8.5km caldera, which is filled partially by the crater lake known as Segara Anak or Anak Laut (Child of the Sea), due to the blue color of its water. This lake is approximately 2,000 metres above sea level and estimated to be about 200 metres deep. The caldera also has a hot spring. The Sasak tribe and Hindu devotees believe the lake and the mountain is sacred. Religious activities are occasionally organized in the two areas.
